The Urbanfun Hifi claimed the throne. They are delivering an amazing sound, that beats its competitors on all levels. The sound they provide are amazing, characterized by accuracy, being uncolored and detailed. No over-delivered basses, but punchy and detailed. The range from mid's to their high's sounds amazing, as they are able to deliver the highest quality on the whole spectrum.

The sound the Urbanfun Hifi’s are delivering is amazing. They are delivering a ‘studio-monitor’ sound, that provide the most accurate and un-colored representation of sound as possible. The accuracy of the sound you can find back in all the frequency levels in the sound. The bass is really punchy and detailed, providing a very good representation of the intended bass in a song. As other earphones, can be bassy and over-represent the bass, the Urbanfun Hifi is focused on delivering an accurate bass as possible. The part that I love the most about the Urbanfun Hifi’s is the delivering of the mid’s and high’s. The frequency range between the mid’s and the high’s is being delivered on such a high level, it sound’s like all details between these ranges are delivered to accurate, without leaving any sounds on a certain frequency level. It provides instruments and vocals, really detailed and smooth. In vocals you are able to hear the mid’s and high’s at the same time, whereas other earphones may only be producing the mid’s of a vocal. The high’s are of a great level, able to deliver the high’s really crispy, without being sibilance. The mid’s and high’s are one of the best, if it isn’t the best, I heard in earphones.

Build Quality & Design

The overall build quality of the Urbanfun Hifi earphones is good. The earbuds are made of plastic, but are feeling solid. The earphone buds looks more standard, however in combination with the green/black design (which provides them look like Razer earphones), they look stylish to me. The material is the cable kinda feels like a clothing line, it makes it feel really strong. It has a metal pattern in it, which provides in combination with the grey colour, looking them as metal cable. It provides them a nice premium look. The headphone jack is straight, which is a downside, I really prefer the L-shaped headphone jacks, since they are usually more sustainable.

The earbuds are sitting really comfortable, thanks to the design and the weight of the earbuds, since you barely feel them sitting in your ears. The cable is feeling smooth, in comparison to many stiff wires, what I really like. When your working out for example, or walk, it’s nicer to have a smooth cable that prevents you from pulling out your earbuds. The sound is also really pleasant for longer listening sessions, in the beginning the clear mid’s and high’s may be a bit harsh, but after you burn-in the earphones well, they sound really comfortable.

We can conclude in this Urbanfun Hifi review, that these earphones are absolutely today’s winners. The accuracy and detailed sounds it’s able to deliver are of outstanding quality. In combination with its low price (about $17), these are the best deal there is out there. It leaves its competition like the Rock Zircon’s and the Tennmak Pro far behind, where it beats them in terms of sounds, on all levels. I’m using these earphones as my main earphones now, and really enjoying the amazing sound quality re-listening songs with these earphones. I can’t get around these earphones, just buy them, it’s the new King. Product - New URBANFUN Balanced Armature With Dynamic In-ear Earphone BA Driver Noise Cancelling Headset

I got this seeing the earphone kings review and I am really happy with the dual driver version. it requires a bit power , but they work extremely neutral on the galaxy s8 I use. Superb micro details. My every day headphone is a Bang and Olufsen H6 and I understand it isn’t the best heaphone out. I am getting a hint of that headphone in terms of tonality and details, and speed on this tiny inexpensive earphone. A true hidden gem for ‘neutral’ sound lovers.

Selçuk, I have both versions. The hybrid version is more detailed but the beryllium version is significantly louder and easier to drive. If you ask me, you should buy the beryllium version. I absolutely recommend the beryllium version because it is cheaper and louder.

Selcuk, this version is the Hybrid version. I currently do not have the beryllium version. I will order the beryllium version as well to make a good comparison!

Cable noise is low, because the Cable is very light. I use them also in the gym and running. These are still my number 1 in-ears.. you really should get them!

This is not the first review I’ve read that claims these have a relatively uncolored sound. I have to question the competency of those reviewers, and this reviewer as well. The bass on these is clearly elevated and the mids recessed. Coming from something like the HD600, this is immediately obvious. Is everyone used to v-shaped sound or what?

That said, these are quite a bargain and I’m a fan of the all-green version.

You just want to sound smart right? Since these are (relative to 90+ percent of other earplugs) seen as having quite a straight frequency response, with a very balanced sound. It’s only a little bit V-shaped, but that’s fine, the mids are far less in the back than most earplugs. It’s also hilarious that you compare these to HD500’s, but that’s okay.

Thanks for your feedback HUH. Well, as I described that the Urbanfun Hifi’s provide a studio monitor sound, which is more likely an uncolored sound. I must admit that the high’s are a bit higher than average uncolored sounding earphones. Despite the high’s, I think they represent really a studio-monitor sound. If you compare them to really V-shaped earphones (Rock Zircon, Sennheiser Momentum M2 In-Ear), these are more uncolored.
